Jonathan “Jonty” Culwick
Manager Stress and Testing - AAT Composites | Ex F1 Engineer – McLaren Racing
Jonty Culwick is a highly experienced Stress Engineer and Technical Lead with a background spanning elite motorsport and aerospace engineering. His career includes structural analysis and simulation roles at Aston Martin, MINI Rally, and nearly a decade at McLaren Racing, where he worked on some of the most advanced engineering programs in Formula 1.
Today, Jonty leads engineering efforts at Applied Aerospace Technologies (AAT), applying his motorsport-honed skills to cutting-edge aerospace projects. He is passionate about simulation-led design, engineering leadership, and mentoring the next generation of technical talent.
