Direct Coupling for Electromagnetic and Acoustic Solutions:

SimLab 2023 introduces a direct coupling between the Magnetic Transient 2D Solution (MT2D) and the e-Motor acoustic solution. This feature allows for an integrated approach to extracting electromagnetic excitations from the solved MT2D solution when both solutions are present in a database, which is crucial for the durability of e-motors.

Enhanced User Experience with SimLab:

The user experience has been further enhanced in the new release. This includes improvements such as simplified suspension models, advanced volumetric rendering for results display, 2D plotting of variables, and a revised water-wading solution, all of which contribute to a more efficient and user-friendly simulation process.

AcuSolve 2023 can now model thermal runaway in battery cells and the propagation of this thermal event, which is essential for safety and performance evaluations of battery systems. The software now supports the simulation of complete battery packs, moving beyond single battery modules. It assigns unique IDs to modules, facilitating easier identification and management of complex simulations.
